I have the same thing going on with mine right now. Updating Java and praying its the solution. I just started playing Tekkit a week ago and now I'm having withdrawls.

I was having the same problem, this is how I fixed it.

I renamed my .techniclauncher folder to .old

I did a complete reinstall of the techniclauncher

I moved my saved folders back to the proper folder within the new .techniclauncer

my games are now working fine
