Modpack Update Help

I need some serious help. I seem to have modpack updates however technic isn't picking up on it. I remember before that if you pressed play it would update for you but now I don't understand how to update the modpacks that have the green arrow of please update me. Can someone please help me out. It's getting fustrating not knowing how to update modpacks.

Sometimes technic server become slow, and It take a bit of time for an update to apply to the launcher. What sometimes works for me is after I push out and update, and It doesn't appear in the launcher, I push out another empty update, just for the purpose of making it go faster, and it usually works.
