'Minecraft failed to start, errors reported in the log.' when trying to use 1.4.5 build

Description of Problem:

I'm trying to use the 1.4.5 technic build. It downloads everything but then opens a white screen and I get the message 'Minecraft failed to start, errors reported in the log.' Using the 1.4.2 recommended build does work, however.

Do you really have not Antivirus? Sometimes they can impede the download. Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus if you have one, it sometimes works.

Nope, no antivirus. I'm on a mac, and have also been to lazy/cheap to get one. Thanks for your advice

That's the one. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the problem is here. I've seen it before a few times, but I don't actually know the solution. I have a feeling it has something to do with NEI. Can you try deleting the NEI folder from Coremods in technicSSP in the .techniclauncher folder, and see if that fixes it?

Okay, thank you anyway. I removed the NEI1.4.2.7.jar from the coremods folder and restarted the launcher, but I got the same error.

I'm getting the same problem and I'm running:

Mac OS X 10.8.2

Java Version: Java 7 Update 9

I'm fine using the Recommended build, but when I try to use 1.4.5 I get the same errors.

I also tested this on my

Mac OS X 10.7.2

Java Version: Java 6 and Java 7

And got the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

i deleted absolutely everything to do with technic and re-installed today. 1.2.5 build worked but 1.4.5 won't.
