Not Able to Use MCEdit's Analyze Function, Suggestions on Block Counter?

Hello all,

I am really, really curious to poll for ore distribution rates in various map chunks. However, my 2 usual tools won't work with Tekkit Legends. I'm assuming this is because they lack the additional resource files that Tekkit Legends uses. Does anyone have any tools that they successfully use to view Tekkit Legends map files, or better yet, to count blocks in chunks?

I've tried MCEdit's Analyze, but it gives me an error. I tried the latest version currently available (2.0.0-beta6), and a couple legacy versions I had. I've also tried Minecraft X-Ray 3.6.3. X-Ray crashes upon trying to open the map file.
