Launcher Won't open

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: AVG 2012

Description of Problem:

When i click the icon to open the launcher a message appears saying that its stopped working and won't let me open the launcher at all.

Error Messages:

Technic Launcher has stopped working.

Error Log:

Turn off AVG and redownload. If that doesn't work, try using the jar instead of the exe.

The word I highlighted is the issue with your statement. If you have the same problem but are using a mac and are getting a different message, you have a different problem. You should probably post your own bug report.
