CrustySquid Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I hosted a server for a few days with some friends and i played around with some server stuff, then it stopped working, so i reinstalled it the Exact same way i did the first time and it said: The server requires you to have the following mods: mod_IC2 v1.103 mod_ComputerCraft 1.41 mod_CCTurtle 1.41 mod_Railcraft 5.4.7 So i reinstalled it a few times and the same result, i completely reinstalled my launcher as well several times, when my friends log on to the server they get the same message, however, one of my other friends hosts a server and we can all get on fine and we never get this message. Also as i said earlier, at the beggining it DID work, so i have no idea whats going on, heres a snapshot of what it says: Please help! Thanks
gosorenson Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 It seems a lot of people are having this problem i think what it is is the fast that it appears the server launcher is more updated then the client one
CrustySquid Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 It seems a lot of people are having this problem i think what it is is the fast that it appears the server launcher is more updated then the client one do you know of any fix?
gosorenson Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 i do not ive been having the exact same problem
PhaxeNor Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 In the launcher under Tekkit -> Options -> Select Dev. Build as prefered build. That will fix it for now, but need to remember to change it back to normal when the client is updated. Fixed it for me and all my friends.
gosorenson Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 thanks ill try it out and hopefully he will as well

Go to 'technicpack.com/tekkit' and go to the 'Server' page on it and go to Previous Versions. Select 3.1.2; that's the current rec. build. The dev. build doesn't include all of the mods yet.
roboaedin Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 It seems a lot of people are having this problem i think what it is is the fast that it appears the server launcher is more updated then the client one That's true. The server is 3.1.3 but the client is 3.1.2. The main download link for the server is 3.1.3, but the rec. that people use is 3.1.2, and 3.1.3 doesn't have all of the mods in it.

For me and all the people I've seen, it just took all the mods but Forge away ._.
PhaxeNor Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 For me and all the people I've seen, it just took all the mods but Forge away ._. Well worked for me and my friends. I also did the same as OP, fresh install of server and same problem. But we prefer this version. It's up to the op and others what they do.
