TheGamingVeenix7 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Hi I have been having trouble with my modpack the version before this wasn't crashing then once i added dimensional doors mod to it and updated my pack and launched it, it just started crashing randomly at initializing mods phase 3. Can anyone help me fix this? Modpack Site: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/the-ultimate-adventures-pack.744242 i also added my latest crash report just in case crash-2017-01-12_19.42.47-client.txt
Moderators AetherPirate Posted January 13, 2017 Moderators Posted January 13, 2017 Use pastebin, attachments do not work. Some your mods versions are very old, such as Galacticraft, you have ver. 344 which is 2 years old. Enderio is over 1.5yrs old. Are you getting mods from trusted sources, or content scraping sites? Your pack did actually launch for me.
TheGamingVeenix7 Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) it worked fine for me but then i added dimensional doors to it and it started crashing i tried to read the crash file but the only thing i saw was dimensional doors had a biome id conflict but everything else was just gibberish, I don't know which file is conflicting or how to fix it so i removed it but i'll pastebin my crash http://pastebin.com/c4sfYmTa Edited January 13, 2017 by TheGamingVeenix7
GazbonicAcid Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) Edit: Thanks for actually paste binning it ! Quote That is NOT paste binning it. http://pastebin.com/ Edited January 13, 2017 by GazbonicAcid
Moderators AetherPirate Posted January 13, 2017 Moderators Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) A helper mod like this one: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2387300-say-no-to-id-conflicts-install-anti-id-conflict You will need to read about how this mod works. It will find what exactly is conflicting. Then you can go into the config file for DimDoors and change it to a free ID After your conflict is fixed, remove this helper mod. TheGamingVeenix7 Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 I installed it and put it in the mods folder like the website said and went into configs file but when it crashed and i looked for the files that should have been included in the biomes folder were not there so i can't fix the id conflict how do i fix this?
Moderators AetherPirate Posted January 13, 2017 Moderators Posted January 13, 2017 You downloaded the version for 1.710, right? And there was no AntiID Conflict folder inside of Configs? If this is not working, try opening the config for DimDoors and look for where it assigns Dim ID's to its dimensions, and change them. I *think* the upper limit is 127, try some high numbers, but not above that.
TheGamingVeenix7 Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) it said there was a biome conflict not a dimension conflict tho and there are two biomes and one dimension but the biomes are both originally over 127 Edited January 13, 2017 by TheGamingVeenix7
Moderators AetherPirate Posted January 13, 2017 Moderators Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) Whoops, you're right, read that as Dimension ID from http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1287583-dimensional-doors-v2-2-4?page=166#c3359 SenseiKiwi -- just as an FYI --Currently DimDoors overlaps biome ID's 250 and 251 from BoPPocket Biome ID -- Forest (New) ID -- 250Limbo Biome ID -- Taiga (New) ID -- 251From what I've got so far... the only "safe" range is currently between 88-98 and 100 - 150Mod/Biome ID Summary:DD: 250-251EBXL: 32-59Highlands: 150-179BoP: 28-69 and 170-254Twilight Forest: 70-87Thaumcraft: 162-164Ars Magica 2: 99 Edited January 13, 2017 by AetherPirate
