Mechanist crafting table. crash.

So my minecraft keeps on crashing when I use this workbench, I don't know whats causing it and I can't continue my new world unless I get past it, and this is causing such a headache for me, Would anyone be able to help?
I'm unable to attach my crashlog for some reason

This is a known bug with tekkit 1.6.4. The culprit is Simply Jetpacks, you can update with https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/simply-jetpacks/files/2206512

Note that if you are playing on a server, the server owner and all clients would need this newer jar file

then again, this might be a new laptop, could that be an issue?

Your antivirus might be blocking the download, try disabling

If you are using Edge, get any other browser and try that too.

Don't have anti-virus going, all I have right now is windows Defender, as I said, new laptop and I haven't gotten around to installing an antivirus as of yet.

Alright, so I got it to download with google chrome, How do I install it?

go to C:\Users\**YourWindowsUserName**\AppData\Roaming\\.technic\modpacks\tekkitmain\mods and remove the older simplyjetpacks jar file, and paste the new one in. 

Then re-launch tekkit
