old tekkit 1.1 server

I personally do not have ftp access to the server i play on, and the admin is incredibly lazy and so we have never had an update applied.

We tried to update it last night but could only find ways to converter 1.1.4 and above to 2.1.1, but according to him the server is still on 1.1.0

Is there a way to get it up to 1.1.4 so we can update to 2.1.1?

If its something stupid, please say. HE has given me very little information and i cant fiddle about myself.

(as a small side question, where is the files for the new launcher saved on osx? I cant seem to find them)

Search out a tool called Midas Gold, and somewhere there is a download to a text config file you load in. Require some digging but you should be able to find it.
