can't update mod packs to their latest version

Title: can't update mod packs to their latest version

Version: 2.1.1

OS: windows 7

Java Version: latest version

Description of Problem:

i downloaded the whole technic pack from the website but when i created a world for tekkit/technic it said that it was 8 updates behind and the minecraft version itself is 1.2.5 how do i update it to the latest and newest version there is ?

Yeah, almost the same thing happened to me. When I try to log onto my server it says I have 4 outdated mods. Here is my thread:http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-login.33215/

You mean when you load up a world one of the mods is telling you that it's out of date, correct? Just leave it. That mod has been updated, not the most recent version hasn't been included into technic/tekkit yet. It won't affect you. Most of the updated versions of the mod yelling at you is fore a newer version of Minecraft, that isn't supported by Tekkit yet.

Gateway, you're not running the same version of the client as your server. Open launcher, click options, manual build, and select the correct version that your server is using from the drop down menu.
