noisulli Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 (edited) Hello all, This is a short tutorial on how to make sweet redstone ingots. Sweet redstone ingots are used to make flux pipe, a very awesome block that can be used to power machines and extraction pipes. It took me more time than I want to admit to figure out how to make these ingots, which is why I'm trying to make this guide simple and straight forward. The resources you will need are: 1 modular socket 1 multi smelter 2 item input 1 machine output 1 energy input 2 obsidian transport pipe 1 chest 1 socket remote 2 redstone dust (or more) 2 sugar (or more) A source of RF power (almost any kind of engine will work) Start by placing the modular socket on the ground. Right click to add a machine output on the top face. Add a multismelter and an energy input to side faces. Next add your item inputs to the two remaining side faces. This GIF shows how to do it. Now you need to use your socket remote. Initially your socket remote should have a dark blue light when you craft it. If not, then shift+right click until you get to the dark blue light. Once you have it dark blue, then right click on the multi smelter once to set the blue light on the multi smelter to "1". Now you need to set the socket remote to "green" mode by shift+right clicking once. Now that it is green you need to do the following things: Set the green light on your first item input to "1" Set the green light on your second item input to "2" Set the green light on your multi smelter to "2" Set the green light on your machine output to "3" If you are still unsure on what to do with the socket remote, check out this GIF. Next place obsidian transport pipes directly next to the two item inputs. Also place a chest on top of the machine output as shown below. Multi Smelter Setup Toss up to 64 redstone dust into an obsidian transport pipe, and up to 64 sugar into the other obsidian transport pipe. Now everything is set up to make the sweet redstone ingots, you just need a power source. You can use pretty much any type of engine as your power source, but redstone engines do not produce enough power to run the multi smelter. You can connect the engine directly to the energy input side. If the machine is getting enough RF power, sugar, and redstone dust, then the multi smelter will change color and start inputting sweet redstone ingots into the chest. Here is a GIF showing what it should look like when it is working. Edited June 14, 2017 by noisulli
