Are you creating a dedicated server or opening a single-player game to LAN? Are you trying to join his/her game or vice versa? How far does the person attempting to join get in the process? See the kinds of things it would be helpful for a troubleshooter to know? No one responds to requests for technical help when they don't think it will be possible to even understand the problem.
