Sylvanni Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) I want to play a specific modpack. I do not care about the 'requirements' someone who doesn't own my computer set. How do I opt-out of RAM requirements and run a modpack anyway? I have searched google for a few hours now and the closest I can find is people who didn't install 64-bit Java. I do not care about what other people think of my system: I know it well, and I would honestly like the freedom to tweak the RAM load until I hit an optimal point. I know its a small complaint, but it annoys me that I cannot tweak it and experiment with it. Currently, I am wasting ram space on a requirement that seemingly has no way to bypass. Why on earth would a modding community that otherwise excels at player freedom allow some random person who doesn't know my system to demand a ram level? Its arbitrary. Is there a way around it, or is technic too limited to be tweaked with? Edited November 7, 2017 by Sylvanni Quote
Forum Administrators Lord Ptolemy Posted November 7, 2017 Forum Administrators Posted November 7, 2017 Delete the file called runData in the bin folder of the modpack you're trying to run. Quote
