Can't sign in

Hi all,

I used to play Vanilla Minecraft and Tekkit through the Technic launcher with my daughter a couple of years ago. 

We have since been playing Minecraft paired in a LAN in both xbox and PC (Windows 10) so had to use the new version of Minecraft as she wanted me in her world.

I would like to go back to our old world but no matter what I do I cannot seem to log into the Technic Launcher without the "Auth Error Invalid credentials. Invalid username and password. "

I can log into the site without issue.  I have reset the password a couple of times but without joy.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

You need to have bought the Java edition of Minecraft. The Bedrock(Windows 10 only) edition does not count. If you have the Java edition then you will have to contact Mojang as we have nothing to do with Minecraft logins.

I already have the Java edition, or at least I do not recall deleting it.

I'm not looking for a Minecraft login, I'm looking to resolve my issue with with the Technic Launcher log in.  Perhaps I gave to much info on the reasons why I hadn't signed in for a while which confused matters.

As the login prompt on the Technic launcher states, you need to use your Mojang/Minecraft credentials in order to login. These are the exact same credentials you would use to login to the Vanilla launcher or  https://account.mojang.com/login. You do not login to the Technic launcher using Technic platform accounts. Platform accounts are only used for http://technicpack.net/ in order to create modpacks.
