I cannot log into any of the technic launcher packs

Operating System: windows xp

Java Version: the latest one I just updated it today 28/12/12

Antivirus Program: I don't have one

Description of Problem:

When ever i try logging on to tekkit it says incorrect username field/ password field combination. I have tried doing this many times I do have an account from mojang. please help

You need to own Minecraft to use the launcher

Make sure you are typing it in correctly then. If you migrated your account make sure to use your e-mail as your username.

Migrated? I have used my email many times for the user name just comes up with incorrect username field/ password field combination.
