Hi, I was wondering how to protect spawn from ee items such as the infernal armors ability to destroy blocks and certain ring abilitys? I tried worldguard and world edit but people were still able to destroy blocks using EE items.

A forcefield will work to prevent most noobs from destroying the spawn, but the EE 2 pros know that a destruction catalyst or a cataclysmic lens will rip right through one and destroy blocks within the forcefield without ever entering.

I recommend the tekkitrestrict plugin that can be found by simply googling the name.

However, if you do use a forcefield, make sure it's block-cutting (use the block cutter upgrade; recipe in NEI). Some EE 2 tools can dig blocks so fast that a forcefield will not be able to generate in those gaps before people have gotten in.

So, if you think you're safe...

Got a idea make the spawn a bedrock platform and make a bedrock bridge to the rest of the world put a force filed over the bedrock platform and reforced doors with pesure plats that way once the walk out they cant go back in and no one can destroy the bedrock platform

A few faults (don't take it personally, just trying to help here):

1. You can break the reinforced doors with redmatter tools.

2. Also, just placing a lever and using it can get you back in...

3. A bedrock isn't exactly the prettiest block and gives the impression of a prison. It may not be your best material to build a spawn (which is the first thing players will ever see) out of.

4. Just use tekkitrestrict or worldguard instead of elaborate defense systems. They're easier :)
