Launcher Credential Teouble

Hello, is there a way to permanently save the launcher login info that you must fill in at the initial login screen? I select to remember username but almost every time I start the launcher, I am required to enter my Mojang information. Is this standard procedure or am I missing something? Thank you.

You probably installed the launcher to a directory that it doesn't have the proper permissions to write to. Install the launcher to the default location.
