Technic starts to run minecraft, then stops...

I have used the Technic launcher before on a much older system and it worked fine, however when i try and launch pixelmon modpack, the launcher starts to load minecraft but then just stops. ive tried everything i can think of to fix the issue and i have 2+g of ram and 64 bit java

Not a launcher issue. No support for Pixelmon. Locked.
