[N/A]I'm trying to get Tekkit launcher to work on my Linux Mint 20 (x64) PC, however whenever I try to launch it, it looks as if it's about to open then the window disappears???

So, I installed the launcher without issue, but no matter what mod pack I install it won't actually launch the game? It says I'm using a version of Java that may have issues before trying to launch, but I can't seem to update my java? I will provide a link to the two screenshots I have taken of the console and error message.
