how do i fix this error

i was able to use the launcher yesterday but over night my pc did an update and now the launcher refuses to open due to an apparent error i have uninstalled and re installed it and still no good  the error that is coming up says "Error: could not open 'C:\ProgramFiles\Java\jre1.8.0_271\lib\amd64\jvm.cfg' " what do i do to fix this because i have no idea.

nvm i hard restarted my pc and i fixed it
