Modpacks Crash just after launching

So to start out, I'm coming back to the Technic launcher after several years. First thing I saw when getting started again was that both Hexxit and Tekkit have sequels now. I loved Hexxit in particular and installed both right away, but when I try to launch either, I get exit code 1 within a few seconds. I've checked that my memory settings are correct for the launcher, I've checked that my drivers are up to date, I even reinstalled Java to make sure I had the current version and nothing seems to work. Hexxit 1 works fine, so I know the launcher is set up properly, just can't figure out where it goes wrong in version 2
