Made an account on these forums after using Technic Launcher for 10+ years just to make this post because I am at my wits' end what may be causing this. So I am currently migrating from an old, longtime Win10 computer to a brand new Win11 gaming rig. I have used Technic Launcher with pretty much zero issues for years on end on the old computer. Now though, Technic Launcher is not letting me even log in to install itself at all, prompting me to log in with my Microsoft account and yet still giving me an error message that 'this user has not purchased Microsoft Java'. I am baffled as to why as I have played Minecraft for over a decade with legally purchased, licensed copies. I even re-purchased Minecraft Java/Bedrock Edition just so I knew 400% sure the account I used for years on end actually had a licensed copy of Minecraft that is compatible with Win11. Still nothing. I'm stunned. Why am I receiving this error message? And what can I do to make me actually able to install the Technic Launcher?
Achthoek Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 Nevermind, it solved itself after somehow installing two different versions of the regular Minecraft launcher...? I'm absolutely not sure why or how this happened but it may have something to do with my account being old I suppose...
