0 SXScarecrow Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Firstly java needs to be updated to 64 bit ASAP. What you've just said isn't helpful at all. Can you provide an error log please, of what the server came back said when it crashed. This way I'll be able to figure out what exactly is going on. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 samethings (kind-of) is happening to me: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/crashing.34678/ i have updated java v7 update 10 64x care to help SXS? Quote
0 SXScarecrow Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 [sEVERE] A critical error has occurred. java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 4 at railcraft.common.utility.TileUtilityItem.a(TileUtilityItem.java:61) at railcraft.common.utility.TileMultiBlock.a(TileMultiBlock.java:250) at railcraft.common.utility.TileMultiBlock.a(TileMultiBlock.java:254) at railcraft.common.api.InventoryMapper.a(InventoryMapper.java:46) at railcraft.common.api.InventoryTools.moveOneItem(InventoryTools.java:375) at railcraft.common.utility.TileItemLoader.moveItemToCart(TileItemLoader.java:252) at railcraft.common.utility.TileItemLoader.n_(TileItemLoader.java:203) at xd.n(World.java:2081) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(Minecraft.java:1871) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:825) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:753) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) This looks like the Item Loader.class has been corrupted in some way. Railcraft is notorious for being susceptible to file corruption caused by server crashes. To fix this, you should back-up your texture-packs and your worlds, delete your server folder and then recreate the server, adding your worlds and texturepack back in. With a fresh install of Railcraft, this error should be rectified. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I dont have a server. I just do SSP. also how do i install railcraft again if it is done through tekkit? Quote
0 SXScarecrow Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 To reinstall it for SSP, back-up and world and texture packs, and then delete the .techniclauncher folder. When you load up the Technic Launcher, it will download all the mods again. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 i have done that countless times....but it keeps doing it. Even in a new world I shall it try again. Edit: It didn't work. 0 SXScarecrow Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hmm, that is the correct build of railcraft, and it should work, but for some reason Item Loader is still loading incorrectly. I believe this is an API error. Try removing Railcraft completely, and then play for a bit. If there are any other errors like this after Railcraft has been removed, it means another mod is conflicting with Railcraft due to missing or damaged API. I am working on a fix for this, but in the meantime try it without Railcraft. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 so remove the mod from the folder? or remove the items that i have? once it started happening i just went to do the other mods while until i find a fix Something else: when i go into my main world, it says: MAtmos: A r21 update is available. (You are 9 versions late). Quote
0 SXScarecrow Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Remove the mod from your .techniclauncher/tekkit/mods folder and try it without. The Matmos message is just an update warning; it won't affect you in any way. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 ok, have you found a solution yet? there are 2 folders: Railcraft_Client_5.4.7b.zip, NEI_RailCraftPlugin 1.2.2.zip delete them both? Quote
0 SXScarecrow Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Yes, delete them both. That will rectify this issue but it means no railcraft. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 When do you think you will have a solution? Quote
0 SXScarecrow Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 My thoughts at the moment are if railcraft won't work after you have reinstalled it, it means your world is corrupted. you can either use MCedit to delete all railcraft related blocks in your world, or start a new world. The permanent fix is pending. Quote
0 Ganondwarfy Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 well, i made a new world, but it did the same thing... Quote
