freezebreeze Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 is it normal for the Rotary Macerator to eat up all the energy from my MFE and not get powered up at all? Quote
0 Blocker226 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 If you slammed 64 storage upgrades into the slot, possibly. Look for nearby redstone connected to the Macerator too. Quote
0 Deridor Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I'm having the same/a similar problem: Launcher/pack Version: latest Operating System: unknown (playing on a server. my OS is windows 7 64 bit) Version of Java: latest Description of Problem: Rotary macerators, when plugged in to an ample energy source, do not attempt to absorb energy. As such, no macerating occurs. Error Messages: N/A Link to pastebin of log: N/A I'm running it off of a filled mfs unit plugged into a spent nuclear reactor (uranium used up etc...). Have tried plugging in to every section of the transformer layout (LV, MV, HV, and straight to the mfs/reactor. nothing happens. the energy meter filled itself up halfway the first time the machine was placed, but afterwards it remains empty. 0 Malver Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I had something like this happen to me on my server today. It had something to do with the Advance machines of IC not blowing up when they received too much power, rather draining the max amount of power from a MFE or MFSU. If its happening when connected to a MV transformer idk what could be happening. To fix my problem of the advance machines not powering up from the cable ran from a MV transformer hooked up to an MFSU i had to take out my upgrades, take the machine down, and replace everything. Thinking the cause was taking the upgrades out while they were hooked to the Medium voltage. then trying to put them back in. Quote
0 gummby8 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Also seeing this with rotary macerators. If you put a rotary macerator on anything but a bat box or LV transformer, it will suck up all energy t a crazy fast rate but never do anything. Once I put macerators behind a lv transformer or a bat box they work like normal. It just seems that rather than exploding when put on a power that is too high, they just drain all available energy.
