Question interface/inventory

Hey guys,

I'm having this weird problem (sorry, I'm really not that technical with pc's).

I recently downloaded and installed Tekkit and chose to play Tekkit Lite from the new launcher.

Now, I've got the standard interface that I know from Minecraft, only with more options, but now my brother has installed the game as well, also plays in Tekkit Lite, and he has a completely different interface/inventory in creative mode! Like this:

All the while I'm stuck with something more like this:

I can't choose to set on or off rain, change the time of day, don't have that nice double interface...

Does anybody know what's going on or why it doesn't work?

If there's anything I forgot to install, please pass me the link?
