Launcher won't join my server

i just downloaded the launcher and launched/installed tekkit, but when i attempt to join my server (on a second local computer), it looks like it will log in (I get the item bar and the MOTD text) but then it changes to dirt and says I am missing "mod_Forestry 1.2.6.1. I." Tried creating a brand new server from a fresh download of tekkit but it did not work. Not sure if this is a launcher issue or a tekkit issue. :'(

The released tekkit server is for Minecraft 1.0 the launcher uses Minecraft 1.1 It just will not work. If you are using a tekkit 1.0 server you need the 1.0 client.

When Minecraft launches it is 1.0.0. Or at least it says it is in the bottom left. I think it uses MCnostalga

If you are using the newly released Launcher to try and join a server it simply will not work. The launcher is currently only made for single player and you cant join the current released tekkit servers. Only use the client available in this post http://technicpack.net/tekkit/
