  1. Based on the log it looks like red power is trying to add it's logic blocks under item slot 177 witch has already been used for the EE Chest, I'd guess that RP is the issue here, not EE. The best solution might be to re-download the server, something probably got messed up.
  2. Solution I use: Open TextEdit and paste the following in: #!/bin/bash cd "${0%/*}"; java -Xms3072M -Xmx3072M -jar Tekkit.jar (use 1024 or 2048 for the -Xms and -Xmx if you have less than 3 GB to give to the server) Save the file as anything you want, but make sure it is in the same folder as the Tekkit.jar "Get info" (Command I) on the file Set the "Open with:" to Terminal Double click the newly created file and have fun! Can't remember where I found this solution, but I think it was on this forum when Tekkit 1.1.4 was the most recent version... P.S. Macs are better :)
  3. I have had similar problems in the past, The advanced machines are slightly messed up, if you give then anything other than LV power (maybe MV, never tried it) they don't explode (they should, it's a bug), but they also don't do anything but suck power. Transform the power to LV or use transformer upgrade to fix the issue.
  4. Forestry will never be back in Tekkit or Technic, the mod author has made it clear that he does not want his mod in Technic. As for Thaumcraft is there even a SMP version of that?
  5. To be honest I used the vanilla redstone because I wasn't sure how do do way I wanted to do with red power, and i figured "if it works, why change it!" And yes bottom row is seeds, middle is bone meal and top is block breakers to harvest. Video is here: www.youtube.com/embed/hInHnUKFFAk
  6. The battery goes in the batbox (battery box?, can't remember the exact name just make sure you use the RP one and not the IC2 one)) that goes between the thermopile and the retriever, or at least it'll work much better that way. The battery goes into the batbox and you're in business! Another way to hook everything up in to use the ender chest added to tekkit (not the one Mojang will add, but the chickenbone one)
  7. How close to spawn are you? I had a similar issue when i started up with 3.0, the bottle didn't vanish but it didn't collect water ether (the deployer was within the spawn protected area). Adding "[redpower]", sans quotes, to the OP list fixed it for me. Just as a side-note, potion bottle don't deplete a water source so single "block" of water should work just fine.
  8. You need something like this: More at :http://s1067.photobucket.com/albums/u426/jorty85/
  9. This is something that works, I have it set up on my personal server, follow instructions here: www.minecraftforum.net/topic/885099-125-worldeditcui-worldedit-client-user-interface-v125 P.S. This is also the first google hit when you search for "worldeditcui" maybe try that first next time...
  10. You need to be an OP on the server for NEI to work in cheat mode, in the server consol type "op yourusername" sans quotes Single player help here: forums.technicpack.net/threads/common-problems-and-solutions.10851
  11. The easiest way to prevent overflow is to use RP tubes, that are much better than BC pipes, you can also use the RP timer to get the timing just right. See integratedredstone.wikispaces.com for more info
  12. Do you have a red power timer nearby? Or something close that is modifying blocks? If there is a block update close (same chunk?) it resets the sign to nothing.
  13. Yes they are, any power generating block (water mill, geothermal generator, solar panel, ect.) can. Just hook it up to one of the sides WITHOUT the dot.
  14. Go to youtube... Search "minecraft red power" Waste the next 3 hours of your life looking at videos Build ALL the things! Basically what I did to start learning how it all worked...
  15. Try increasing the RAM allocation. You can do so with the options button in the launcher. Don't know if this will fix it, but it can't hurt...
  16. Worldedit also lets you give yourself a wand with "//wand"
  17. Looks like your java is not set up right, also, wrong forum From http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,1938.0.html
  18. Another way to deal with this is changing the "wand-item: 271" line in wherever_your_server_is_located>plugins>Worldedit>config.yml to another item. Personally, I like to use 336 (brick, the item, not the block)
  19. You could set the MFSU to output redstone power when it is full and achieve much the same effect.
  20. Unless you have a MASSIVE (more than 115,200 EU/t [225 HV solars * 512 EU/t]) draw off of the MFSU the detector cable is acting right. If the MFSU is full, and it will be unless you have the exceed the above number in power usage, it won't draw power except at the little one tick "pops" you see as the MFSU fills in the relatively small amounts of used power. To further explain the massiveness of this power, you could fill a MFSU in less than 10 seconds will this.
  21. If you /deop everyone then TMI shouldn't work for them, they also will not be able to build/mine close to the spawn point
  22. Persona non grata – it's latin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_non_grata Basically the block is no longer allowed on the server (i think)
  23. When Minecraft launches it is 1.0.0. Or at least it says it is in the bottom left. I think it uses MCnostalga
  24. i just downloaded the launcher and launched/installed tekkit, but when i attempt to join my server (on a second local computer), it looks like it will log in (I get the item bar and the MOTD text) but then it changes to dirt and says I am missing "mod_Forestry 1.2.6.1. I." Tried creating a brand new server from a fresh download of tekkit but it did not work. Not sure if this is a launcher issue or a tekkit issue. :'(
