Description of Problem:

In Minecraft 1.4.7 I am not able to use the rancher to harvest leather or meat from cows.

It does work to extract milk from the cows but nothing else.

I am using a rancher built with a factory machine block, three gold ingots, a bucket and two shears, not the older one with steal and shears.

I can't find anything regarding this subject.

Has someone tried this new rancher?

Tekkit version is 0.5.2.

It doesn't work that way anymore, the Rancher only milks and cuts wool now.

To get the meat and leather you'll need to kill them. The Grinder can do that automatically for you.
