The new launcher doesnt have multiplayer option

Description of Problem:

The old way to connect to my server was to select the multiplayer option just before I log in with the new version of the launcher I an unable to find it, am I missing something? or have downloaded the wrong thing?

Oh, and Technic is not for SMP.

You want Tekkit or Tekkit Lite.

Also, don't use AVG.

What, in the Launcher? Do you mean the Minecraft screen or the Technic Launcher? I've never seen a Multiplayer option in the Launcher before.

...As you load up the launcher you select your mod pack. before this version you would pick the mod pack for multiplayer which would be a picture of 2 creepers next to tekkit now there isn't a option

Ah, I see. You want Tekkit. Tekkit is the multiplayer one, but Tekkit Classic is still Minecraft 1.2.5, but has Bukkit. Lite has no Bukkit, but has MC 1.4.7.

So which one do I select for joining my server tekkit lite, tekkit classic or just tekkit I kinda confused with this new classic one

It depends what server you have. If you haven't updated it since Lite came out, it'll be Classic.
