Title: Ender Chests will not "connect" over worlds which causes inventory to delete

OS: Winddows 7 64x Ultimate
Java Version: JRE6 + JRE7
Description of Problem:
Basically if I set up an ender chest in the main world then hop to the nether and set up another ender chest with the same colour code, they will not connect. If i place items in one then teleport to the other, the items are gone from both. I have also used world anchors and that still hasn't fixed the issue.
