Update Failed

When i try to get onto tekkit/technic it always says it needs to update and then when it gets tot the basemods it says ''Update Failed'

I have redownloaded launcher etc..

Honestly, a simple cursory glance at the million other "update failed" threads would have your problem solved.

Then you aren't looking around much at all. I've personally replied to 5 or more this morning, and ignored at least another ten.

Ive just searched it and there was 2 threads, there are no stickies that say 'Update Failed'

well, then you're going to have to give more information than "it doesn't work"

Did you try the other really common solution of disabling your firewall/uninstalling norton or avg?

I think he means he can run the tekkit launcher but when you try to login it goes to a certain percent then stops and if you minimize it and bring it back up it says (percent) download failed thats whats happening to me atleast
