Repetitive "Update Failed!"

Launcher Version: 1.1.2.0

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Java Version: Version 7 Update 11

Antivirus Program: McAfee

Description of Problem:

Any time I go into the Technic launcher and try to play on Voltz or Tekkit Lite (Both packs I've never played on) I click "Login" it waits 2/3 of a second and then says

i Update Failed!
