Description of Problem:

I was playing Tekkit last night on a new world. About 45 minutes in, my screen showed 'Saving Chunks' and then crashed. Everytime I try to load the world, it immediately says 'Saving Chunks' and then crashes. I believe the initial crash happened when I tried to activate 2 steam engines with coal in them by placing a redstone torch in between them. The engines were attached to a quarry.

If you want to fix this problem, remove the Buildcraft API from the Railcraft.jar in the mods folder.

However, I would really recommend downgrading to Tekkit Classic 3.1.2, since 3.1.3 is extremely buggy. Take this, for example. One of the basic Buildcraft machines crashes the server. So do Advanced Machines and Thermal Monitors. It's really a better idea to use 3.1.2.
