Why won't my Technic vanilla update

So 1.2.4 on technic's vanilla has been released now however it will not update there are no errors or anything just goes right into 1.2.3 without asking to update. I have tried re-downloading the .jar and deleting the technicpack folder

also I am on a mac but I cant use the .app so I use the .jar I'm on the latest java 32bit cause mac has it built in there is also no antivirus program

so why is it stuck on 1.2.3

note:when I'm downloading it said it downloaded the 1.2.4-1.2.3 patch and then the rest of the 1.2.3 download

Macs pretty much all have 64 bit OSX now. You're going to run into problems if you're just using 32 bit java.

sorry I didn't think java would interfere with a quick patch update for it

but it does show 1.2.4 is somewhere it's just not being used
