Hello, I am looking for a server host for my game type idea. Imagine a never ending hunger games... With zombies. A zombie apocalypse game where players can either fortify their base/area of town. I plan 3 cities:

New haven.

Madina.

Torch city.

Each atleast a 2 day journy apart. In all places the infection is equally devastating and wide spread. I should provide awesome Drop-in drop-out, fight or friend, and when you see a zombie, theres always a horde behind it. I chose Voltz for the blast proofing and barbed wire and concrete and pipes will help with a more realistic city-scape. If anyone is intrested and has a computer that can handel many mobs at once and many players at once contact me on skype at: Bigbucks64461337 and hope to see you in the apocalypse.

Instead of trying to find someone to host the server on their PC for you, you should take a look at Peak Hosting http://www.peak-hosting.com/minecraftservers.html , they're really cheap and my Voltz server runs fine and so far has 100% 24/7 uptime (apart from when I manually take it down).

Then when you have the server up and running you could ask people to donate to keep the server running using a paypal donation link, then offer extras to donors to make it worth while donating.

Just a tip though, build the server world in single player then pay for the server and upload the world when it's ready instead of wasting money on the server while building it.

EDIT: with such a large scale build it might be worth hosting a private whitelisted server from home just for builders and using creative mode to build.
