need help asap...technic laucher would load!!!!

hello when ever i click on the techniclauncher tab on my desktop it cums up with an error MSG saying "unable to download launcher. please check internet connection by opening www.techniclauncher.net in your browser......my internet is working fine, ive tryed looking at my firewall but i cant get my head round it. can sum one please help aint played it for days and starting to lose my mind.. thanks x

Your antivirus may be blocking it. What antivirus are you using?

ive got my windows anti virus but im using avg. ive tryed turning it off but wtill wont work.....please help!
