Are the Tekkit Classic downloads bad?

System is a quad core i7 with 8GB RAM running dual nVidia 460GTX's ins SLI. This system has been running a stable CraftBukkit server for almost a year but I thought the players might like to try things like BuildCraft, Redpower, etc.

I downloaded the Tekkit Classic server and client/launcher today and after running the server with no other mods or plugins I got the following errors in the console:

That's normal, and can be ignored. I don't know what causes those errors, but they have no effect on the server.
