Nerdymidgetminer Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Hi, I'm working on a minecraft project but I've run into one pretty large problem-it's gonna take ages to make! I've made the "outline" of the building, but It'll take forever to fill in the space in between. All I want is to create a floor made of the same block type as the outline. Is there some kind of mod that I can use to fill in the gap or something?
racingpro Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Buildcraft Fillers. Make sure to have a good power supply though, as it'll take a fair amount if your project is that big. look up how to use them on the Technic Wiki and/or the Buildcraft Wiki.
adolf hamster Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 as above, i've found the best method is to use a few HV solar arrays and an energy link. then you can either add the blocks to the filler manually or you can create a simple system using transposers, a timer and an energy condenser to fill in with whatever blocks you want. this is ofc playing in creative mode. if its an irregular shape you can use builders, but thats a bit more complex and difficult to get right without planning it thoroughly
