port 25565 refuses to open

Hi, i am trying to make a server using port forwarding. The problem is though that i am the only one who is able to join my server because port 25565 refuses to open. I forwarded it correctly (with TCP selected and the right firewall setting in the router.) and i made an exception in my computer's firewall for the port. but nobody can join my server because the port is closed.

If it doesn't say open, you've done something wrong. If it says open, they're doing something wrong.

well, on the telenet site (the site of our router (its something from belgium)) the port is forwarded and set on open. but if you use a port detector it says the port is closed.

also, i thought i did something wrong and i reset the router and forwarded it again. it still didnt work.

Windows firewall off?

if windows firewall is off it still says that the port is closed, i also made an exception in firewall for that port and that didnt work either.
