Xovivio Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I came to the Technic site and noticed the new change, right? So then I went to the Platform and Technic forums to see what was going on. From what I've gathered, Platform DOESN'T use the original Technic Pack and it saves all of its information in a different folder. So here are my questions: 1) Does Platform DELETE your Technic Pack world? 2) Is there any way to prevent the above if so? 3) In the event that it doesn't do #1, can I transfer my Technic Pack world over to Tekkit Lite? Mooseman9 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Technic has been rebranded as Tekkit Lite. If you have been using the latest dev version of Technic, you can transfer your world to Tekkit Lite no problem. Quote

gotyaoi Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 The old folder should still be there. The new one is called .technic, the old one .techniclauncher. They both live in your %appdata%\roaming folder on windows, or your ~/Library/Application Support folder on Mac. Quote
Xovivio Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Can I like, still get the dev build so I could at least TRY to salvage my world? :T Quote
