"Error when retrieving info for selected pack:" On every default modpack

Launcher Version: 2.0.0-200

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: 1.7.0 update 13

Antivirus Program: Avast! Free Antivirus

Description of Problem:

On every default pack, it always has the "loading..." warning that comes up when normally retrieving pack information. Upon clicking launch, I get the error message listed. Custom Packs still work just fine.

i got the same problem, but i cant even load any pack.

i also have avast, maby its thats causes the problem??

i solved it!!!!!!

you must disable avast to run the launcher.

Same issue as OP, disabling my antivirus software didn't help.
