can i use tekkit as a "base" pack

hey guys, i've been trying to play around with the new platform, and make my own pack, but is there away I can use the mods in tekkit, then add more mods to it

more importantly, am i allowed to use it as a base?

Of course, easily. Just install tekkit, go to your pack directory (.technic by default) and make a copy of the tekkit folder.

Just download the extra mods you want to add to tekkit, slap them in according to the tutorial, zip it up and upload it to the internet as a download, add the download link to the platform as a custom pack, set it to private, and boom personal pack. You can even put your own icon and background art in that will appear in the launcher.
