Does Bronze armor keep you alive in lava until you get out, or is this a bug?

When I wear bronze armor on Voltz and I fall into lava, I only seem to start losing health when I get out of the lava.

I this a bug, or is this a feature of bronze armor?

I tested out this after reading your thread, and seems like the bronze armor actually protects you from lava until you get out of it. This might be a bug, as it doesn't specify on any voltz- or mekanism wiki that bronze armor protects you from lava until you get up from it. All I could get from those wikis was

"Bronze Armor is crafted from Bronze Ingots. It is the second most powerful armor set in Mekanism, only surpassed by Obsidian Armor."

But it might as well be a feature that just hasn't been specified on any wikis yet.
