Nothing shows up

Antivirus Program: kaspersky internet defender 2013

Description of Problem:

I decided to upgrade to the latest technic pack to play tekkit lite with a friend, and as i wait for it to load, nothing shows up, so i reinstalled it, and no modpacks have come up

Error Messages:

nothing that i couldve seen

Error Log:

nothing shown up

Just for clarification, i typed nothing shown up, and i havent even got a signle modpack in my launcher

Click the Windows button, type in %appdata%, press enter, delete the folder called .technic and relaunch the launcher. When it launches it tells you it has not found the folder. Just press ok. This should fix it. If it doesnt just keep doing it til it does. The launcher has been having tons of minor issues lately.

well, I backdated, in other words, saved my old launcher, and reinstalled it so I could tell a few friends what was going on, but ill reinstall the new one as soon as I can

After a disastrous reinstall, i.e., deleted all my old technic files, redownloaded, and the launcher still isnt working, also, i tried installing a modpack, but it wont let me

OK I MANAGED TO FIX IT!

I WENT INTO THE SETTINGS, AND APPLIED MORE RAM(2GB) TO IT, AND CLICKING INCREASE PERMGEN SIZE, AND THEN CLICKED APPLY, SO IT RESTARTED THE CLIENT, AND IT WORKED!!!! :D
