Description of Problem:

So i try to play any modpack downloads minecraft.jar 3 times when window pops up "Update failed"

Error Messages:

none

Same problem here with the 1.1.2.0 launcher.

OS: Windows XP

Java: Latest

AV: AVG

EDIT: Hrm, here's an odd point - the bar at the top says version 1.1.2.0, but "properties" says 1.0.1.0

2nd Edit: Also, this only applies to when I try to update packs by clearing cache. My previously established packs work just fine.

I got this with 1.1.2.0 version of the launcher aswell.

My OS is Windows 7

my current java version is 1.7.0_09

and up until 2 days ago, I used Norton.

Aha! I found a fix! I uninstalled my technic launcher, went to Technicpack.net and re-downloaded it.
