Reducing auto-save frequency?

My server saves once every 30 seconds. While thats nice, it's annoying since my server is also an HTPC and the hard disk is essentially going crazy all day. I'd like to reduce it to one automatic save every 10 minutes. I can't seem to find the config that allows me to change the auto-save rate. Where is this file and what can I do to change it?

I have the same issue too. It started after I updated to the new launcher. I also went to the nether for the first time in that world. The server tells me it has detected leaking worlds in memory. Related?

Has this been an acknowledged issue by the Tekkit team? This is a newly generated world and the auto-save. It says the world has leaked and there are two worlds that appear to be persisting.
