Description of Problem: So I'm running into this issue but only after having my server up and running for generally over a day or two, friends can still join outside of my local network but any computer or myself within the network with the server, we get timed out. Plus when this happens if I make server commands it lags in cmd response (seems to be related, only happens when this issue is going on).
Now it's pretty obvious (or I think) that's just a total crash yet my friends can join like I said outside of the local network and I can go back roughly 6-12 hours to my last physical back up of the entire server folder and join their....
I read the set up for the server and went to all the mod/plugins pages and read through it but they're just basic overviews on those specific items, nothing (from what I saw) mentioned server bug corrections or anything like that so just wondering if perhaps I missed something. I downloaded the server zip, extracted and adjusted RAM accordingly, (got new java to fix Advancedmachines issue), but running into this issue where it seems like the server becomes "corrupt" in a region and it lags bad in that area, when this happens it makes any local computers not join, and when I put commands into the server it even takes a long time to respond to them.
I'm wondering if there was an issue with machines running while no one was on in an area with lots of stuff going on? I know chunks usually shut down but it seems like they weren't, should I try running my character on the server as afk even when I leave to work to see if it crashes for a better report?
If anyone has any idea's or links to something I missed please let me know. Thank you for your time it's much appreciated
Sorry if this is all just crazy I do customer support so take your time, ask what ya need and if ya do agree with the idea of running my character on the server just say so and I'll get that going for ya....just gotta backdate the server again :'(...
