Latest launcher will not load

Operating System: Mac OSX Version 10.7.3

Java Version: 1.6.0_43

Antivirus Program: Unknown

Description of Problem:

When I try to open the latest launcher, it gives me an error message as soon as the window comes up

Error Messages:

"Technic Launcher and Minecraft have incompatibility issues with Java 7 on OS X."

Also, I have deleted java 7 completelyand reinstalled java 6
