My Tekkit won't open

Hello all! My problem is this: I open up my launcher and the first time, all the files downloaded perfectly. The modpack was successfully installed but when I went to play it, it got to the mojang screen and then crashed. I've tried playing around with the amount of memory usage in the launcher screen but that only made it crash faster. I have the latest version of java and it happened the first time I installed it, so I don't think reinstalling will do anything, because this was a reinstall from a couple of months ago when I gave up on this problem the first time. Any help is greatly appreciated! I just want to play tekkit :)
