desjaz Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Hey! I recently set up a server for a bunch of my friends with a whole bunch of mods I decided I liked after playing around with the technic modpack stuff...but the server host we decided to use seems to have a lot of support for bukkit. I would like to use some plugins from bukkit but I cant seem to find any info on if I can even use bukkit/bukkit plugins with regular mods=P or if not some mods that help with server protection=) any help would be appreciated! thanks! Ysharma Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Is it a tekkit lite or classic server? Only tekkit classic is bukkit compatible. Quote
desjaz Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 It's a custom modpack... It's kinda similar to Big Dig in it's mod content... If there isn't a way to get bukkit and mods is there any mods that can give me some of the server options bukkit does? like world protection and something like worldedit? Quote
planetguy Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Use either BukkitForge or MCPC+. BukkitForge is an imperfect port of Bukkit to Minecraft Forge, and MCPC+ is an imperfect port of Forge to Bukkit. BukkitForge should have no mods introduced into Forge mods, while MCPC+ should have the better plugin support. Either one should work in most cases. Quote
aldrigviking Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I would recommend MCPC+. It's the more stable of those two at the moment. Quote
